Julie Connor, CRNP

Julie is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, who specializes in adult health and chronic medical conditions. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2012, she began her career as a registered nurse in the Post Cardiovascular Surgery Unit and Cardiovascular ICU at Huntsville Hospital. She worked closely with patients recovering from open heart surgery and a variety of other cardiothoracic surgeries. Julie often worked in other areas of the hospital, but her main passion and specialty was cardiovascular health. In 2015, she completed her master’s degree for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from UAH and began working with the hospitalist group at Crestwood Medical Center under the guidance of Dr. Haggag and many other knowledgeable physicians. While she learned a great deal working in the hospital, she desired more of a personal connection with her patients and also a more family friendly work schedule. She joined our practice in 2017 to have more time with her first daughter at home.

Julie feels blessed and honored to be a part of such a family centered practice. She and Jared now have two daughters. She enjoys running with her family, training for long distance races, and anything involving the outdoors. She has a special passion for optimizing health to minimize the need for medicine. She looks forward to being a part of your health journey.
